This workshop will first permit to understand, beyond subtitles, the various needs and accessibility criterions for videos (audio description, transcription and sign language).We will work together on actual video examples such as interviews, conferences or short films. We will see how to script transcriptions and subtitles, recording audio descriptions and synchronize these various contents. This workshop will let you discover the methods, tools and technologies which will let you make your videos on the web accessible to most people.

Sébastien Delorme

Sébastien Delorme is consultant for numeric accessibility in the Atalan firm. He plays part with advising and helping missions for clients like AREVA, Carrefour, Lafarge, Société Générale, SFR or SNCF. Sébastien is also in charge of teaching offers in Atalan and techincal chief for the AcceDe project.

With a Master degree in Management of Information Systems (IAE of Lyon and Grenoble), Sébastien is interested with standards and Web quality since several years. On the personal side, he is author of the Tentatives Accessibles blog, initiator of Planète Accessibilité and organisation member of Paris Web.

Finally, Sébastien is, since 2008, evaluation expert for AccessiWeb, referent expert for AccessiWeb 2.0 and member of the AccessiWeb working group.
