EPOC laboratory from CNRS and Bordeaux 1 university (UMR 5805) designed a method to monitor bivalves mollusc (oister, clam, …) behaviour from anywhere in the world. The method is now used for on-line real time water quality analysis.

Eukrea has design the calculator, based only on free software. The system handles acquisition, storage and transmission with GPRS connection.

After a short introduction, we will describe the first solution developped in 2007, technical choices, results and issues then we will describe the new solution currently in progress.

Eric Benard is Linux expert on x86 platform since 1998, ARM platform since 2000. Eric then founded Eukréa Electromatique which proposes solutions and services in electronic and software design based on ARM architecture and Linux operating system. Eukréa has developped about 50 hard/soft projects since its creation, 6 years ago.
