Concrete usage examples of well-known Kerrighed features

Intervenant(s) : Cyril Brulebois
Date : Vendredi 9 juillet 2010 Horaire : 15h20 Durée : 40 minutes
Lieu : ENSEIRB - Amphi D

We will present usecases involving Kerrighed, a single system image operating system for clusters. Those concrete examples will highlight well-known Kerrighed features (load balancing, process migration, application checkpointing).

We will also present the newly-introduced hotplug support, i.e. on-the-fly node addition and removal, which is new feature in the 3.0 version of Kerrighed.

A demo might happen, shall a connection to the internet be available.
