Adding Hardware Support to Buildroot

Presentation will describe how to add Buildroot support for a new ARM9 based board. The followings components will be described :

- Bootloader (U-Boot)
- Linux kernel with specific patches patches
- Root-filesystem in several formats (CPIO, JFFS2, TAR, …)

First, we will describe structure of recent Buildroot version (2010.x), then we’ll explain how to modify configuration files to add board support (Makefile.*, Config.*).

Presentation will include demonstration with a real board .
